Production process | Hand-painted glass cups by MagicCeramics
Each hand-painted glassware item from MagicCeramics begins with a transparent and pure glass body. We select high-quality glass and undergo cleaning and polishing processes to ensure a smooth and clean surface free of impurities, providing an ideal canvas for hand-painting.
The patterns are hand-drawn by experienced artists. Unlike printing or appliqué, every line and every shade is meticulously depicted layer by layer with a fine brush. During the drawing process, the brushstrokes and color intensity need to be constantly adjusted to achieve a three-dimensional and lively effect on the transparent glass. Therefore, each cup is slightly different and unique.
After the drawing is completed, the cup will undergo multiple processes of low-temperature coloring and natural cooling to ensure a stable combination of the pigment and the glass. This not only guarantees the lasting color but also retains the smooth texture achieved through hand-painting. Finally, each cup will be inspected and cleaned by hand, solely to present the most ideal state in your hands.
